Founder

Since its inception in 2019, the French-African Foundation has devoted itself to supporting new generations of committed African and French leaders making a positive impact through their activities. It aims to change the narrative and perceptions of Africa in France and vice versa by promoting dialogue and showcasing positive actors. Through its Young Leaders program, it has built the first pan-African network of African and French young professionals. Its activities are supported by private and public entities, including the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Danone, Concerto, Africa Global Logistics, Rothschild & Co, France Media Monde, and Boston Consulting Group.

Founded in 1872, Sciences Po aims to develop free-thinking and engaged individuals committed to societal betterment. The institution emphasizes academic excellence and social inclusivity at its core. Its multidisciplinary educational approach is rooted in social sciences and humanities, combined with strong international openness and the ability to merge fundamental knowledge with professional expertise through its 290 faculty researchers and 4,600 adjunct faculty members. Sciences Po, as a world-class research university with eleven research centers, assumes social responsibility by addressing major contemporary challenges, such as environmental and digital transformations, public policy evolution, and combating inequality and discrimination.

Defending academic freedom is a cornerstone of its mission, deemed essential for democracy and social progress. Annually, Sciences Po educates 15,000 students, half of whom are international, across seven campuses (Dijon, Le Havre, Menton, Nancy, Paris, Poitiers, and Reims). It also operates a College for undergraduate studies and seven schools offering Master’s programs in International Affairs, Public Affairs, Law, Journalism, Management, Research, and Urban Planning. Over 3,500 professionals benefit from its continuing education programs.
